Experience The Lights at Indio
Owned by the City of Indio and managed by Landmark Golf Management, The Lights at Indio offers one of the longest par-3 golf courses in the country, with holes ranging from 110 to 240 yards. The facility was constructed over 50 years ago by the City of Indio on approximately 46 acres at 83-040 Avenue 42, near the northeast corner of Avenue 42 and Jackson Street.
Our facility is perfect for all levels of golfers, from beginners to PGA Tour Professionals. The golf course design provides a non-intimidating challenge for golfers of any age to enjoy a fun recreational round of golf in the desert!
With seven holes measuring over 160 yards, the course provides a stiff test for even the best of golfers, so come “PLAY THE LIGHTS!”
Course Policies
- STARTING TIMES: All players must check in thirty (30) minutes prior to their assigned starting time with the Starter inside the Golf Shop. Play begins from the #1 tee only, unless otherwise directed by the Golf Shop staff.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations cancelled within 24 hours will not be refunded. We do not issue Wind/Rainchecks.
- NO SHOW/SHORT SHOW FEE: If the reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the tee time, a $10 no show/short-show (fewer players than reserved) fee per player will be charged.
- DRESS CODE: Proper golf attire required on the golf course and practice range. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. It is recommended that Men’s shirts have collars and sleeves.
- MINORS ON THE COURSE OR DRIVING RANGE: All children under the age of 10 must be under close and constant adult supervision while on the golf course or driving range.
- GOLF CART RENTAL POLICY: All golfers operating a golf cart must be sixteen (16) years of age or older and must have a valid driver’s license. Golf Carts can accommodate a maximum of 2 people and a maximum of 2 golf bags. Golfers are required to sign a Cart Rental Agreement before renting a golf cart. Golf carts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All carts must remain at least 15 feet from tees and greens. Golfers must operate the golf cart safely and are responsible for any damage they may cause during the round.
- GOLF CLUB POLICY/RENTAL CLUBS: All golfers should have their own set of golf clubs. Golfers without golf clubs may rent a set of golf clubs from the course for $25 a set. The golfer is responsible for any damage or loss of clubs.
- FOOD AND BEVERAGE: All food and beverage products are to be purchased from the golf course. NO OUTSIDE COOLERS ARE ALLOWED. The golf facility furnishes a cooler with ice for every golf cart.
- PACE OF PLAY: An 18-hole round of golf shall be played in 3 hours or less. You are considered out of position if you cannot see the group in front of you. Guests who are unable to maintain an acceptable Pace of Play will be asked to skip a hole or pick up and finish. Guests will be notified if they are out of position via GPS, a Player Assistant, or a Golf Professional.
- CARE OF COURSE: Please replace your divots on tees and fairways with sand, which is provided on your golf cart and on tee area. Please repair ball marks on greens.
- REPLAY: Replay of the course can be made upon completion of the first round and is subject to an additional charge per person, based on space availability.
- NO DOGS/PETS ALLOWED.
